Inteqaam is a suspense-thriller short film currently in pre-production. It follows Shagufta, a Pakistani Muslim cleaner, accused of murdering a celebrated lawyer. The story explores the dynamics of sexual violence and the failures of a patriarchal justice system. It is being developed under the guidance of award-winning Director Khurrum Sultan.

Brown Women in Film is a first-of-its-kind global collective dedicated to championing and nurturing South Asian women working across film, TV, and media. Born out of the urgent need for space, solidarity, and visibility, our collective is committed to holding nuanced conversations about our intersecting identities, while actively addressing the systemic issues that uniquely impact Brown women in the industry.
